Nintendo Gachapon in Japan

Gachapon (capsule toy vending machines) are huge in Japan, with new collections being released weekly.
I thought I’d use this blog post to collect pictures of Nintendo’s various Gachapon I’ve spotted in shopping centres, and streets around Japan.

Did you know…?

“Gachapon” is a Japanese onomatopoeia composed of two sounds: “gasha” (or “gacha”) for the sound of a crank on a toy vending machine, and “pon” for the sound of the toy capsule dropping into the receptacle.
